THIS IMAGE WILL LOOK BEST ON GLOSSY/LUSTER SURFACES, NOT TEXTURED SURFACES. CANVAS/WOOD AND SIMILAR NOT RECOMMENDED. ALSO, THIS IMAGE WILL NOT CROP WELL TO SQUARE FORMATS - PART OF THE IMAGE WILL BE LOST. Late winter/early spring is a dark and brooding time. When I composed this scan, I thought about a stage, framed by campanula seed pods, a raked stage of fern fronds, a play of death and renewal.
